Breast augmentation revision is a common procedure. Patients often wish to increase the size of their mammary prosthesis. Patients may want to exchange their implants for a variety of reasons. Some of the more common reasons for changing implant size is to change the size, change from saline to silicone, or silicone to saline, and a size change is accomplished with a change in implant profile. Rippling of the breast implant is also a common reason for why patients may want to change implants. Often when patients experience rippling with saline implants, they may want to change to silicone implants.
